Weather it's the first thing or the last thing you purchase, a rug can dramatically change a room. Choosing the right rug is a very personal process - it should look right in your space, feel right in your space and work in harmony with your furniture and accessories. Here's some advice for choosing rugs for your most essential rooms:

Working rooms

Most working rooms like the office, the mud rooms and the laundry room consist of large expanses of flooring and cabinetry - be they gorgeous or utilitarian - they're usually crying out for comfort and warmth. And an area rug is the perfect place to start.

Living rooms

Living rooms are, in fact, where we "do" most of our living. Living room demand rug that wears well and will even look better over time.

Bedrooms

Area rugs provide a point of interest in your bedroom, a soft landing for your feet and keep the chill away from your toes in the winter. If your bedroom already has a lot of color and busy pattern, a solid color rug or a simple pattern will look better

Kitchen
